I don’t need your wedding to be perfect to photograph it well. Weddings are real life happening in real time, which means people cry, people laugh too hard, someone forgets something, and at some point, the dance floor probably gets a little questionable. That’s part of the day! It doesn’t need to be edited out.
I’m there for the portraits, the details, the pretty light, and all the photos you already know you want. But I’m also watching for the hand squeezes, the nervous laughs, the quiet moments, and the split second where it actually hits you that you’re married.
I don’t want your photos to feel like a cleaned-up version of your wedding made for the internet; I want them to feel like proof of what it was actually like. The good, the emotional, the weird, the loud, the soft, and all the pieces that made it yours.
Hey, my name is Alex
I’m Alex, the human behind Alex Faye Media. I’m originally from Florida and have been taking photos since middle school, back when everything felt a little messier and a lot more fun. Storytelling has always been my thing, which eventually led me to earn a degree in Journalism, spend some time as a reporter, and later move into marketing. These days, I hold a master’s in marketing, but photography has always been the thing I keep coming back to.
Somewhere along the way, I fell hard for weddings. The laughter, the emotions, the details people spend months thinking about, and the moments they don’t see coming. It’s one of the few days people truly want to remember forever, exactly as it felt.
Getting to be part of that, to help tell the story and preserve it, is something I don’t take lightly. It’s also genuinely one of the best feelings in the world.
